Arabian Sinbad
“"We were very satisfied with the final product. It was a good ROI because the project happened quickly."”
Background
About Arabian Sinbad
Arabian Sinbad is a language learning software specifically designed to help both kids and adults to learn, increase their knowledge of, or maintain Arabic and other foreign language skills.
The challenge
What Arabian Sinbad needed to solve
Arabian Sinbad hired Invesp for a specific project: to develop a top-notch wireframe and UX design based on user research.
We wanted a very intuitive web application to teach foreign languages to children. We needed to make sure all of the wireframes and the UX would be top-notch and based on native research done in the field.

Upon hiring Invesp, Arabian Sinbad was using a UX design created by their in-house designer. It was aesthetically good, but there was no balance between creativity and usability, which made the design lack a natural flow.
We had a designer in-house who worked on the first version of the UX design. When I reviewed it, I saw room for improvement — the application lacked a natural flow.

Creating a new design that balanced creativity and functionality solved half the problem; our team also had to incorporate it into a gamification engine. As Arabian Sinbad's first conversion project, our CRO team crafted an optimization process customized to their business model.
The solution
How Invesp approached it
We deployed a team that consisted of a Senior CRO Specialist, Senior UX Designer, and senior front-end and back-end developers.
Using our SHIP optimization process, our team applied various research techniques to understand users' learning objectives, then designed steps to motivate children to enjoy the platform. In less than two weeks, we had identified the usability and persuasion issues working against the site's conversion rate.
They delivered a document that detailed the pages they were going to work on, and they worked with our in-house team on delivering the wireframes.

Having mapped out the testing landscape, we launched four experiments and, by the third month, had identified the optimization treatment that worked best — holding weekly status meetings throughout.
What I really liked was their punctuality and professionalism in communication. Everything was very clear; we only had to speak about a point once and it was done.

The results
The impact
The wireframes were really good — we were surprised because they were practically in UI mode; all we had to do was add the products we developed. Invesp was very efficient. They didn't agree on every suggestion I made; they challenged us in a good way and made me think twice. We were very satisfied with the final product, and it was a good ROI because the project happened quickly and they met the deadlines.
